Ltd. was founded by late Sardar Maghar Singh Kalsi when he migrated to Jalandhar from Lahore during the partition. Initially the firm started manufacturing hand pump parts. Punjab being an agricultural state the market for agricultural implements had very big potential. As a result Kalsi Metal Works Pvt. Ltd. diversified into agricultural implements like Reflux Valves, Bends, Tubewell fitting etc. These products were quality-oriented and as such led to consumer satisfaction. On the pursuance of dealers and consumers Kalsi Metal Works Pvt. Ltd. started manufacturing Centrifugal Pumps in the year 1961.
